SIA Training Manchester

4TRESS SERVICES offers SIA license Training for any individual wishing to gain their SIA license. The full course and subsequent examination is carried out at the 4TRESS SERVICES PREMISES, by an SIA trainer. The course is open to all, irrespective of whether or not they are employed by 4TRESS SERVICES.

Since March 2006 legislation requires individuals working in the sector to be licensed by the SIA (Security Industry Authority), who have specified the criteria for obtaining this license. The NOCN Level Two award in Security Guarding (Static & Patrol) has been developed to meet the training needs of the SIA.

The qualification is composed of two mandatory units:

• The Role and Responsibilities of Security Officers
• Communication and Conflict Management

The course takes approximately 30 hours to complete and is assessed by two, one hour externally set, written exam papers consisting of multi-choice questions.
